Storytelling Lisboa

As always, interpret the theme freely. Chaotic orgy? Chaotic workplace? Chaotic relationship? Chaotic plane ride?
Maybe it is about the time you were charged with taking care of your very calm nephew only to find when his parents disappeared it was wildness. Or maybe it is about the job you had as a bouncer and dealing with too much 4 o’clock in the morning messiness. Or maybe it is about the trip you had planned out completely only to have one thing go wrong and boom: disaster, confusion, chaos!
We will hold our event at Fábrica Braço de Prata, an enormous multi-roomed centro cultural in Marvila that hosts everything from salsa bands to intimate piano concerts to philosophical comedy. To accommodate everyone, we will be in the outdoor tent right inside the gate to Fábrica Braço de Prata. The tent and venue has ample space but as our crowd keeps growing, we tend run out of seats. Feel free to bring yoga mats or cushions to sit on the floor and get snuggly as we listen to amazing storytellers. Bring blankets and coats in case it gets chilly.
Storytelling Lisboa is a completely free event run by volunteers. We welcome everyone to get on stage! Absolutely no experience is necessary.
We only ask that stories be true and personal and that they are performed as opposed to read—and they should be stories instead of philosophical musings, motivational speeches, or stand-up routines. The content is completely at the discretion of the storyteller as long as it is related in the monthly theme and respectful to the diversity and experiences of all humans.
